Meaningful converstaions

I am so glad that this ACYM blog can be the repository for such amazing conversation. I am enamored by the sheer depth of dialogue our people are capable of having. Where will the blog take us? No one knows. Here are some excting things coming up . . .
- You get to have Bible class with your parents again this week. I am excited about that.

- I got the stuff for our 30 Hour Famine in a little over a month. That is going to be sweet. I will introduce it all to you guys on Sunday night. Check out their site if you get a chance: www.30hourfamine.org.

Thanks for getting this thing updated. Now we have to get on the others so that they can check us out once in awhile.
Kristen, I'll get your blog linked to here so others can check it out. It is so dreamy . . . those pictures of Tom and all . . .

Going out to eat is like paying to poop.

Just something for you to think about. Hope to see ya all at Son Fest this weekend!

Back from the grave

I'm not back from the grave, but this blog is. Kristen, Samantha, and Andrew are all going to make sure all is up to date. Hopefully, that way, our ACYM friends from around the world can stay in touch with us better.

SUMMIT was this past weekend. I'll try to get some pictures up here today or tomorrow. The Metzes bailed on everyone on Saturday since we had Buckeye tickets. Sorry . . . but Clark got his first taste of Buckeye football, so it was worth it.

Samantha and Kristen came through with a little bit of Fear Factor ACYM style. Andrew and I thank you for that glorious anchiove. Mmmmmmmmmm Good . . . that's all I can say. I can't wait to see the beautiful bean footage from that.

Lots of great stuff happened there at the convention center. We even found out Anna is pretty cool . . . ha ha. Marik better watch out . . . we may end up with a new favorite exchange student.

Coming up this weekend . . . we're heading to Mt. Vernon to check out SonFest. Check the details out on the web: www.mvnu.edu. Follow the campus life link to Sonfest. Then we're heading back to the Metzes for a little Beat Texas party. The game this week is so huge I have no words.

R.E.A.C.H. group starts tonight at 4:00. Hope everyone can make it. I think these groups are going to be a lot of fun. The Marion Retreat isn't far off either. Exciting stuff. ACYM get fired up.
